The Motorhome and Caravan Show in a van
NEC, Birmingham. The national launch show for next year's motorhomes, campervans and caravans — and the one event where turning up in a van is the whole point.
Tuesday to Sunday. The show campsite is open from Monday 12 October; the last bookable night is Sunday 18 October.
What the organiser says about vans
- There is an official campsite on the NEC's North Car Parks 10 and 10a (B40 1NT), run by the Caravan and Motorhome Club, with a shuttle to the show entrance. [1]
- 2026 prices per night, Monday to Saturday: £54 paved with electric, £49 shingle with electric, £39 shingle without. Sunday 18 October is £10 less. Electric pitches are limited. [1]
- The price covers a hardstanding pitch and two adults; extra adults are £9 a night. It does not include entry to the show. [1]
- Pitches are 9 m by 10 m, for one unit and one car. No awnings. Allocated on arrival, first come first served. [1]
- Arrive between 11am and 9pm. After 9pm, security puts you on a temporary pitch without electric and you are moved in the morning. Leave by 10am on your last day. [1]
- There are toilets, fresh water and black, grey and dry waste disposal — but no showers. The Club recommends motorhomes fill with water before arriving. [1]
- Dogs are allowed on the campsite but not in the show, and the Club notes there is no green space around the site. [1]
- If you are only visiting for the day, the Club says parking is included in the ticket price. [1]
- The NEC is outside Birmingham's clean air zone, which covers the city centre inside the A4540 ring road. A route that cuts through the centre is inside it.
Numbered points come from the sources listed below. Points without a number are our own advice, not the organiser's.
Our plain advice
Book the campsite if you want to stay — it is the organiser's own answer, it is on site, and a show full of motorhome owners fills it. If it is full, stay further out and drive in for the day: day parking comes with the ticket.
