Privacy
In short: the only thing we hold is the email address you typed in, and the list you chose. We use it once — to tell you when there is something worth using. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising, no third parties, nothing sold or shared.
Who we are
This site is operated by ROAM STOPS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17414780. You can reach us at hello@roamstops.com about anything on this page.
What we collect, and only this
- Your email address, because you typed it into one of the two forms.
- Which form you used — traveller early access, or host enquiry — so we send you the right thing.
- The date and time you submitted it.
That is the complete list. We do not run analytics on this site, we set no cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels or advertising tags. Nothing is recorded about pages you view or where you came from.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Your consent, given by submitting the form (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it — one email to us, and it is gone.
What we do with it
We email you when RoamStops launches, or — if you asked as a host — we send you the host pack explaining what hosting involves. That is all. There is no newsletter, and we will not email you about anything else.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We do not sell, rent, share or trade it. It is not passed to advertisers or data brokers. The only third party involved is IONOS, who host this website and therefore store the file it is written to, as our processor.
How long we keep it
Until launch, plus a reasonable period to actually send the thing you asked for — and no more than 24 months from when you gave it. If RoamStops does not launch, we delete the lot and tell you we have.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or hand it over in a portable form. Email hello@roamstops.com and we will do it within one month — usually the same day, given how little there is. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Where it is stored
On our web hosting in the UK/EU, in a file that is not reachable from the internet. It is not transferred outside the UK or EEA.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change is material and you are on the list, we will tell you before it takes effect.
