Chatsworth Country Fair in a van
Chatsworth, near Bakewell, Derbyshire. Three days of grand-ring displays, country sports and trade stands in the park in front of the house.
Friday to Sunday, gates 9am to 5pm.
What the organiser says about vans
- The fair sells its own caravan and motorhome pitches: £120 for three nights (Thursday to Saturday) or £145 for four (Thursday to Sunday) in 2027. [1]
- Electric hook-up is an extra £100. [1]
- Pitches are for caravans and motorhomes with their own on-board facilities only. Tents are not permitted. [1]
- A pitch ticket does not include admission to the fair — entry tickets are bought separately. [1]
Numbered points come from the sources listed below. Points without a number are our own advice, not the organiser's.
Our plain advice
This is the rare event where the organiser has a clear, bookable answer for a motorhome. If you want to be on site, book the pitch; if £120 is more than you want to spend, stay off the estate and drive in for the day.
